Council of the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota was held at the Village
Hall in said Village on the 24th day of July, 1967 at 8:00 o!c:c_ic P.M. with
the following members present: ALL THE COUNCIL
and the following members absent: NONE
Member Malvin introduced the tollowing resolution and moved its
adoption:
Resolution authorizing filing of application with the Department of Housing
and Urban Development, United States of imerica, for a grant under P.L. 89 -117.
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Y.L. 89 -117 the United States of America has
authorized the making of grants to public bodies to aid in financing the
construction of basic water and sewer projects:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY The Village of Mounds View, Minn.
(Governing Board of Applicant)
1. That 1.C. Rustad be and he is hereby authorized to execute and

file an application on behalf of The Village of Mounds View, Minn. with the
(Exact Legal Corporate) Name of Applicant)
Department of Housing and Urban Development, United States Government, for
grant to aid in financing the construction of Water Works Addition to Existing
(Brief Project Description)
System and an assurance of compliance with the Department of Housing and Urban
Development regulations :under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
2. That I.C. Rustad .Mayor be and he
(Name of Authorized Representative) (Title)
is hereby auth and directed to furnish such information as the
Department.of Housing and Urban Development may reasonably request in connection
with the application which is herein authorized to be filed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member Johnson, and upon a vote being taken, the following member voted in
favor thereof: ALL THE COUNCIL
and the following members voted against the same: NONE
whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted.

1, the undersigned; being the duly qualified Clerk of the Village of Modrds
View, Minnesota, DO HEREBY CERTIFY That I have carefully compared the attached and
foregoing extract of minutes of a meeting of the Village Council of said Village
held on the date therein indicated with the original minutes thereof on file
in my office and that the same is a full, true and correct transcript thereof
insofar as said minutes relate to a resolution correcting assessments for M.A. 56.

day of July 1967.
