STATE OF MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING SALE OF NONCONSERVATION LAND
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Ramsey County by
resolution dated September 1R, 1967, classified as nonconservation land certain
land lying within the limits of the Village of Mounds View; and
WHEREAS, a certified copy of the classification resolution, together
with a list of the land classified, has been submitted for approval of the
classification and sale of the land classified in accordance with MSA, Section
282.01, sub. 1;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the classification of the land
shown on said list as nonconservation land, and the sale thereof, be and hereby
is approved, except for the following described lots: The East 30 feet of the
NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 7, Township 30, Range 23
That part of Lot 35, Block Fourteen, Pinewood Terrace No. 5 south
of the extended south line of Lot 28, Bloc;_ Fourteen of Pinewood
Terrace No. 5, subject to ditches; and
That part of Lot 35, Block Fourteen Pinewood Terrace No. 5, east
of the extended westerly line of Lot 23, Block Fourteen, Pinewood
Terrace No. 5, subject to ditches, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Village Clerk be and hereby is authorized
to file a certified copy of this resolution in the Office
Mayor
of the Land Commissioner.

The Board of County Commissioners, by
resolution dated September 18, 1967, classified as non-
conservation land the parcels of forfeited land shown
on the attached list.
Approval of the classification and sale
of the land is required by statute before the parcels can
be appraised and offered at public sale.
We are enclosing a certified copy of
the County Board resolution, together with a suggested
form of resolution, which we trust will meet with your
approval.

WHEREAS, NSA, Section 282, provides that forfeited bands be classified as
conservation or nonconservation and that the classificationbe submitted to the
governing body of the governmental subdivision in which the parcels lie for ap-
proval of the classification and sale thereof; and
WHEREAS, The Land Commissioner has prepared a list, dated Septeā ber 18,
1967, of parcels which forfeited fbr noapnvment of taxes and recommends that
said parcels be classified as nonconservation lands;
ROW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the parcels of forfeited land as shown
on said list he and hereby are classified as nmeonservatioa lands; and
BF IT FORTNER RESOLVED That the classification be submitted to the governing
body of the subdivision in which the parcels lie for apgroval of the classifica-
tion and sale of the lands involved.

Attached hereto is a list containing the
descriptions of several parcels of land which forfeited to
the State of Minnesota for nonpayment of taxes on August 15,
1967. The statute covering the sale of tax- forfeited lands
requires approval of the classification and sale of the lands
before they can be offered for sale.
We also attach a certified copy of the
classification by the County Board and a suggested farm of
resolution for submission to your Board of Trustees. When
action has been taken, please return a certified copy of the
resolution to the undersigned.
