HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 0348VILLAGE OF MOUNDS V IEW COUNTY OF'RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT WHEREAS' Pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law' t he Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessments 1n�� q for water improvement project 196J, sewer and water improvement project 1967 -1, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of Mounds View, Minnesota: 1. hereof, are hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessments against the land named therein, and each tract of land 'r therein included is hereby found be benefitted by the proposed improvement in the amount of the aszessment levied Such assessments, copies of which are attached hereto and made a part against it. 2. The assessment for water improvement project 1965 -9 shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of fifteen (15) years, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in January, 1968 and shall bear interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be aclded interest on the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1968. To each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. 3. The assessment for water improvement project 1967 -1 shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of fifteen (15) years, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in January, 1968 and shall bear interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. The assessment for sanitary sewer 14)67 -1 shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of thirty (30) years, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in January 1968, and shall bear interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1968. To each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. 5. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment of the County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to the date of the payment, to the Village Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged in the entire assessment is paid within thirty (30) days from the adoption of this resolution; and he may, at any time thereafter, pay to the County Treasurer the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31st of the year in which such payment is made. 6. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County Auditor to be extended on the proper tax lists of the County, and such assessment shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes. Adopted by the Council relative to water improvement project 1966 -9 the 16th day of October 1967 and relative to sanitary sewer and water improvement project 1967 -1 on October 23 1967.
