VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota, was
held at the Village Hall, on the 6th day of October, 1969, at 8 :00
o'clock P.M. with the following members present: Rustad, Malvin,
Blanchard, Johnson and Hodges
and the following members absent: None
Member Malvin introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENTS FOR SEWER, WATER,
STREET, SURFACE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS 1968 -2 and
1969 -1
WHEREAS, Subsequent to the assessment hearing held on the
15th day of September 1969 the Village Council as a whole has reviewed
all of the properties where objections were raised verbally or in
writing. All objections were reviewed by the Council and Village staff,
mathematical corrections were made and all objections relative to
benefit and formula were considered.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the
Village of Mounds View, Minnesota as follows:
1. The special assessments for sewer, water, street, surface
drainage improvements 1968 -2 and 1969 -1 are hereby adopted, and it is
hereby found and determined that each lot, piece and parcel of property
so assessed is benefitted in the amounts of the respective assessments
levied against it.
2. The assessments for the following described parcels may be
paid in cash, without interest, if paid within 30 days from the date
hereof, or may be pail in five (5) equal, annual installments in the
same time and manner as the payment of real estate taxes with interest
at the rate of 8% per annum from the date hereof to December 31 of the
year in which the first payment is payable to be added to each
subsequent installment:
1. Unplatted lands
S 168.5 ft of N 321.5 ft of E 118.98 ft of W 626.48 ft of
NW 1/4 of Sec. 8, Twn 30 Rg 23.
2. Unplatted lands
E 237.98 ft of W 930.46 ft of N 321.5 ft of NW 1/4 of
NW 1/4 (Subj to Rd) in Sec 8 Twn 30 Rg 23.
3. Lots 1 thru 10 Block 1 Park View Terrace
4. Lots 1 thru 15 Block 2 Park View Terrace
3. The assessments for the following described parcels may be
paid in cash, without interest, if paid within 30 days from the date
hereof, or may be paid in fifteen (15) equal, annual installments
in the same time and manner as the payment of real estate taxes with
interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date hereof to December
31 of the year in which the first payment is payable to be added to
each subsequent installment:

Beg in Sec 8 Twn 30 Rg 23.
3. Subj to Rd Tract G Registered Land Survey #153.
PROVIDED, HOWEVER, That any property owner may pay the entire unpaid
balance of the assessment against his property at any time with interest
to December 31 of the year in which said payment is made.
4. The Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to certify a copy
of the assessments and a copy of this resolution to the County Auditor
of Ramsey County to be extended on the proper tax lists of the County
for collection with other real estate taxes in and for the Village.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by Member Johnson and upon a vote being taken,
the following members voted in favor thereof: Rustad, Malvin, Blanchard,
Johnson and Hodges
and the following members voted against the same: None
whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, the duly qualified and acting Clerk of
the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that I have
carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of
a meeting of the governing body of the above municipality held on the
date therein indicated, and that the same is a full, true and correct
copy of said minutes, insofar as the same relate to a resolution
adopting assessments for Sewer Water, Street, Surface Drainage
Improvements 1968 -2 and 1969 -1.
