HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 0459RESOLUTION NO. 459 VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA At a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View held on the 13th day of October 1969, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., at the Village Hall located at 2401 Highway 10, Mounds View, Minnesota, with the following members present: Rustad, Blanchard, Hodges and Johnson and the following members absent: Malvin Member Blanchard moved the following resolution: A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTRACTS FOR WATER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 1968 -3, HUD PROJECT WS -4 -24 -0045 VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW WHEREAS, the Village of Mounds View has ordered and authorized Water Improvement Project 1968 -3 (HUD Project WS -4 -24 -0045) and WHEREAS the Administrative Clerk was authorized to advertise for bids and pursuant to said advertisement bids were received, accepted, and reviewed by the Village Council and the Village Staff, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following award of contracts be made and that the duly authorized officers of the Village are hereby authorized to execute said contracts pursuant to law. 1. Schedule B. 2,000,000 gallon reservoir and booster station. Contract awarded to Peterson Templin Inc., Crystal, Minnesota in the amount of $317,278.00. 2. Schedule C. Watermain Extensions. Contract awarded to Krohn Drainage Co., Slayton, Minnesota in the amount of $271,101.14. 3. Schedule D. 500,000 gallon elevated water tank. Contract awarded to Universal Tank and Iron Works, Rural Route 8, Box 360, Indianapolis, Indiana in the amount of $147,890.00. 4. Schedule E. Four deep wells. Contract awarded to Layne Minnesota Company, 3147 California Street N.E., Minneapolis for the following wells: 5. Schedule F. 2 Pump Houses Contract awarded to Peterson Templin Inc., Crystal, Minnesota for $101,113.00. 6. Schedule G. 2 Water Treatment Plans and appurtenances. Contract awarded to Peterson- Templin Inc. Crystal, Minnesota $302,777.00. Member Johnson seconded the motion to adopt the resolution, whereupon Members Rustad, Blanchard, Johnson and Hodges voted infavor of the resolution, with no members voting against. Whereupon the Mayor declared the resolution duly adopted the 13th day of October 1969. Clerk y STATE OF MINNESOTA ss.
