VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
At a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of
Mounds View held on the 13th day of October, 1969 at 8:00 o'clock P.M.,
at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway 10, Mounds View, Minnesota, with
the following members present: Rustad, Blanchard, Hodges and Johnson
and the following member absent: Malvin
Member Johnson moved the following resolution:
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FUNDS IN EXCESS
OF HUD FUNDS FOR WATER IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT 1968 -3 (HUD PROJECT WS -4 -24 -0045
Mounds View Minnesota)
WHEREAS, the Village of Mounds View has received a grant
relative to HUD Project WS -4 -24 -0045 in the amount of $552,000.00,
and
WHEREAS additional funds will be required to complete said
projects,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the additional money
needed in the amount of $1,097,089.64 shall be provided by the Village
through the sale of general obligation bonds and that these funds will
be available in time to meet project requirements.
BE IT FURTHER PROVIDED that the Village by its Administrative
Clerk has duly advertised for the sale of said bonds and bids for said
bonds were duly received by the Village on the 13th day of October 1969
and that pursuant to Minnesota Law the low bid was accepted by the
Village and the sale of said bonds was duly authorized by appropriate
actions of the Village Council.
Member Hodges seconded the motion adopting the resolution
whereupon Members Rustad, Blanchard, Johnson and Hodges voted in favor
of the resolution and no members voted against.
Whereupon the Mayor declared the resolution duly adopted the
13th day of October, 1969.

I, the undersigned, the duly qualified and acting Clerk of
the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that I have
carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of
a meeting of the governing body of the above municipality held on the
date therein indicated, and that the same is a full, true and correct
copy of said minutes, insofar as the same relate to a resolution
providing funds in excess of HUD funds for Water Improvement Project
1968 -3 (HUD Project WS -4 -24 -0045 Mounds View Minnesota).
