Home My WebLink AboutResolution 0487RESOLUTION NO. 487 VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA At a regular meeting of the Village Council held on the nth day of M 1970, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. at the Village Hall located at 2401 Highway 10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112, with the following members present: Rustad, Blanchard, Malvin, Neisen and the following members absent: Hodges Member Blanchard moved the following resolution: RESOLUTION RELATIVE TO WATSON CONSTRUCTION COMPANY PARTIAL PAYMENT. WHEREAS, Watson Construction Company owns the following described property in the Village of Mounds View: Except Long Lake Road and County Road J the North 1/4 of Northwest 1/4 of Section 5, Town- ship 30, Range 23, and Except Long Lake Road the South 1/2 of North 1/2 of Northwest 1/4 of Section 5, Township 30, Range 23, and WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota has initiated condemnation proceedings over a portion of said land and has issued its Warrant #198038 in the amount of $20,625.00 in partial payment in said proceedings, and WHEREAS, the payees on said check are Watson Construction Company, Village of Mounds View, Treasurer of Ramsey County, and Raymond W. Faricy, attorney, and WHEREAS, there is a delinquency on payment of taxes and assessments commencing with the payments for the year 1966 and continuing to the present date, and WHEREAS, Watson Construction Company has agreed to pay all taxes and penalties for the years 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969 and 1970 amounting to $2,961.45, and WHEREAS, Watson Construction Company has agreed to fully pay the assessments, interest and penalties for the year 1966. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that if Watson Construction Company pays the amount of $2,961.45 plus interest and penalties as and for real estate taxes for 1966 through 1970 and pays the assessments and interest and penalties for the year 1966, the Village Clerk may endorse said warrant from the State of Minnesota. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Ramsey County Auditor is authorized to make the appropriate entries on his tax records to reflect the foregoing, and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Treasurer for Ramsey County endorse said warrant upon the payment of the foresaid taxes, 1966 assessments, and interest and penalties thereon. Member Malvin seconded the resolution.
