HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 0493At a regular meeting of the Council of the Village of Mounds View held on the 13th day of July, 1970, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., at the Village Hall located at 2401 Highway 10, New Brighton, Minnesota 55112, with the following members present: Malvin, Hodges, Blanchard, Neisen and the following members absent: Rustad Member Neisen moved the following resolution: AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA TO ACT AS CONVEYOR AND GRANTEE FOR THE MOUNDS V' 'W INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT 621. WHEREAS, The Edgewood Junior High School of the Mounds View Independent School District 621 is submitting an application for funding of Community Resources in a Comprehensive Program for Junior High Underachievers. WHEREAS, The Mounds View Independent School District 621 has requested the Village of Mounds View to act as Conveyor and Grantee for this program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village of Mounds View act as Conveyor and Grantee for the Community Resources in a Comprehensive Program for Junior High Underachievers and administer and convey the funds in behalf of Edgewood Junior High School and the Mounds View Independent School District 621 for the period of July 1, 1970 to JUL,: 30, 1971. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Village Clerk- Administrator, Mr. Dennis S. Zylla is hereby authorized and directed to execute such an agreement as requested by the Governor's Commission on Crime Prevention and Control to implement said program. Member Hodges seconded the resolution.
