A regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View was
called to order by Mayor Gibson at 8,20 P.M. on November 3, 1958, at the Village
Halls 1450 West Highway 96.

All bill: were approved to be paid.
The minute; of_the October 21st meeting were corrected to read "urge voters
to vote :"Yee" on: Amendment No. 1 Motion by Rusted, seconded by Achterkirch to
approve minutes as corrected.
Motion by Sullivan seconded by Rusted to approve minutes of October 29th meeting.
Motion, by Achterkirch, seconded by Rusted to give permission to Mr. Bentrup to
proceed with home at 8158 Redoak Drive for which building permit has been issued.
After recommendation from the Planning Committee a platted lot will be surveyed and
recorded, in the meantime the Council gives special permission to waive requirement
of Ordinance #15, Section 5 Paragraph'9. 5 ayes.
Donald G. Erickson, 2261 Lois Drive requested permission to build within three
feet of the lot line. Motion by Rusted, seconded by Sullivan to give permission to
build within three feet of lot line if Mr. Erickson presents written consent of the
adjoining property owner to the building inspector when applying for a permit. Council
waives requirements under Ordinance #15, Section 5 Paragraph 12 and Section 9, Paragraph
2 of the Ramsey County Zoning Ordinance. 5 ayes.
Motion by Achterkirch, seconded by Sullivan to approve 50 foot road easement
with a 21 foot driving area double oiled and sealed for the property owned by Mr.
Dalberg and Mr. Haluptzok, subject to posing of bond in sufficient amount to
cover cost of building road. 5 ayes.
Plat of "Haugen`s Addition" referred to engineer and attorney.
Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Achterkirch to approve snow plowing and
sanding to be done by the County when requested by Trustee Itustad or Mayor Gibson.
5 ayes.

Motion by Achterkirch, seconded by Rustad to approve the proposal from the Recreation
Committee regarding Lakeside Beach as to form. No committments will be made until a
meeting with Park Playground, Inc. and Spring Lake Park Vil]age. 5 ayes.
Discussion of new village offices tabled until the next meeting.
A'-pointment of Plumbing Inspector tabled.
Purchase of legal file tabled.
Motion by Rustad, seconded by Achterkirch to concur with the Planning Committee's
recommendation regarding Case 58-4, property owned by Mr. Jansen. 5 ayes.
Motion by Irvine, seconded by Sullivan to concur with the Planning Committee's
recommendation concerning case 58-5 to have Mr. Ib submit a res
Iblings rezoning 'petition for
his property. 5 ayes.
Motion by Rustad, seconded by Achterkirch to approve dance license for Tony Donatelle
at Irondale Inn. 5 ayes.
Motion by Achterkirch, seconded by Rustad to approve Resolution #12 establishing a
3 man election board which will include 2 judges and 1 clerk for the December 2nd
election. 5 ayes.
