Council was called to order at 3.1i o P.M. May 15th,
1961 at the Village Office, 5499 Adams St., New Brighton

A RESOLUTION MODIFYING ASSESSMENTS FOR WATER
MAIN IMPROVEMENT was presented by the Attorney and
read. Motion by Hodges to adopt said Resolution.
Seconded by Blanchard. 4 Ayes for approval.
The Clerk was instructed to forward a copy to
County Auditor.
Motion to adjorn by Blanchard. Seconded by
Crane. 4 Ayes.
Meeting adjourned at 11:55 P.M.

A RESOLUTION MODIFYINv ,ASSESSMENTS FOR WATER M:,IN IMPROVEMENT.
WHEREAS, The Village Council has deterr.ined that certain
assessments are to be modified or divided,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the following list of
modifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof,
is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the
lands named therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found
to be benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assessment
levied against it.
2. Such assessment shall be payable i:_ equal annual installments
extending over a period of fifteen years, the first of the installments to be
payable on or after the first Monday in January, 1961 and shall bear interest
at the rate of 6 per cent per annum from the date of the adoption of this
assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest an
the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1961.
To each subsequent `:stallment when due shall be added interest for one year
on all unpaid installments.
3. The owner of cane property so assessed may, at any time prior to
certification of the assessment to the county auditor, ,ay the whole of the
assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the date cf payment, to
the village treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire
introduced the following resolution and moved
assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution; and hef
may, at any time thereafter, pay to the county treasurer the entire amount of
the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31 of the
year in which such naymer:t is made.
4. The clerk shah forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this
modification and division to the county :auditor to be extended on the proper
tax lists of the county, and such assessments shall be collected arid paid over
in the same manner as other municinal tares.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Member and upon a vote being taken, the following
members voted in favor thereof:

whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted.

the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota, DO HEREBY CERTIFY That I have carefully
