Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes, EXTRACT OF MINUTES or MUTING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF TIE VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW, MINNISOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a x meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds Vied, Minnesota was held at the 'in said Village on the 'day of July 1961 at p.m. with the following members present: and the following members absent: N o c Member r r t introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: IrgQ A REeOLVRLON DIFYINO A98E88MNNT8 FOR WATER MAIN DIPROVEM N WHEREAS, The Village Council has determined that certain assessments are to be modified or divided, NOW, Tom, BE IT RESOLVED, That the following list of modifications and divisions, a copy of which is attached hereto and mode a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special amassment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of fifteen years, the first of the installments to be payable on or after the first Monday in January, 1961 and Shall bear Amtereat at tpe rate pi 6 per cent per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. Tb the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1961. To each Subsequent installment when due shall be added intere9t for one year on all unpaid installments. 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the county auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the Vi11 Treasurer, Except that no interest thn).1 be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution; and he may, at any time thereafter, Per to the county treasure the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in vhioh such payment is made. 4. The clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this modification and division to the county auditor to be extended on the proper tax lists of the county, and such assessments shell be collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes.
