St. Paul 12, Minnesota to canvass the votes of the Village Election
of December 5th, 1961. The meeting was called to order at 7:20 A.M.
on December 6th, 1961 by Mayor Crane with the following members.,._

At the Annual Village Election of the Village "ofaMounds :View
tbe.County of Ramsey and State of Minnesota, held at Red Oak School,
Pinewood School, and Messiab.f,utheran Church: being the place where
it was directed to be held by the Village Council after giving due
notice thereof as f ovided by laws on the 25th day of November, 1961,
aftd'appointed said qualified voters of said Village to act as Judges
of such Election a Precinct #1 Iva Petron, Grace Aleckson, Bernice
Schaffhausen, Alternate Bernice Ehlers, Precinct #2 Ida Nippert,
Lila Hauberg, Bernice Hafslund, Precinct #3 Ada Sopkowiak, Ramona
Thompson, Maxine Benesch, Alternate Harriet Kish, who being present
at the hour of 7:00 A.M. each of them (except alternates) duly took
and subscribed an oath or affirmation to faithfully discharge the duties
required of them at such Election; and the said Judges being duly
qualified, forthwith opened the polls by proclamation, and the Elect-
ion proceeded by ballot without adjournment or intermission until
closed.
The subjects voted on at such Election, as stated in the Notice
thereof, were: to elect:
1 Mayor
1 Trustee
1 Justice of the Peace
1 Treasurer
and to cast the ballot on the question "Shall licenses be granted for
the sale of intoxicating liquors in the Village of Mounds View
At 8 :00 o'clock in the evening of said day the polls were closed
proclamation thereof having been made by one of the Judges thirty
minutes previous thereto. The Judges then proceeded to publicly count
and canvass the votes, and a true statement thereof was duly proclaim-
ed to the voters by the Clerk who recorded the same in the Village
Minute Book.
The following is a true statement of the result of the counting
and oanvase of votes by ballot at the Annual Village Election of the
Village of Mounds View, County of Ramsey and State of Minnesota, held
December 5th, 19610 as proclaimed to the voters by the Clerk of Electic,

For the office of Mayor:
Allan B. Crane received 729 votes.
Earl E.•Smith•received 390 votes.
Le Roy Johnsson received 132 votes.
Al Hillsdale received 3 votes.
James Gibson reeeived 25 votes.
Karner received 1 vote.
Ekroth received 1 vote.
Presley received 1 vote.
Blank or defective ballots 2.

Allan B. Crane was declared elected Village Mayor.
For the office of Trustee:
John L. Sullivan received 672 votes.
Kenneth. Simonson received 388 votes.
Mel Christensen received 1 Vote
Supich received 1 vote.
Blank ballots -18, Defective ballots 1.
Total Ballots 1281
John L. Sullivan was declared elected Village Trustee.
For the office of Justice of the Peace:

Irene Edberg received 1173 votes.
Mel Christensen reoeived 1 vote.

Lathe Peterson received 1 vote.
H. Kish received 2 votes.

Special Meeting December 6th, 1961 Continued-
Motion by Blanchard, Seconded by Christensen to accept the
results of the Village Election of the three precincts. 5 Ayes for
approval.
Motion by Crane to adopt Resolution #92 removing of Village
Office from 5499 Adems 'st.,and regular meeting place from Red Oak
School and Justice Court from Arden Hills Village Hall to 2401 Hwy.
10 St, Paul 12, Minnesota; Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes.
Office Equipment bids were expiaihedi Motion by Hodges to
authorize Clerk and Deputy Clerk to }AU-chase furniture according to
list and bid, Seconded by Christeiiseiia 5 Ayes.
Motion by Christensen, Seconded by Malvin to adjourn at 8 :05 P.M.

criptions on the following property for condemnation purposes,
No. 1 is described as follows:
Greenfield Plat 2, Lot 3, Block 3, the building on this
property is 16.2' x 20.2'.
No. 2 legal description is as follows:
Beginning at a point on a line 33 ft. south from and
parallel with the North line and 219 feet east from
west line of the south 2 of the S.F.. ;;thence southeast-
erly 107 feet parallel with Northeasterly line of S.T.H. 10/62;
thence at right angles southwesterly 43- 55/100 feet to
said Northeasterly line; thence Northwesterly thereon to
intersect said first described parallel line; thence east
thereon to beginning in Section 8, Township 30, Range 23.
The building on this property is 18.4' x 31'.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That all Justice Court Waimea shall
henceforth be conducted at 2401 Highway 10, St. Paul 12.
The above resolution was moved by Mayor Crane sad eeeanded
by Trustee Malvin and was approved unanimously by Trustees Hodges and
Christensen and Clerk Blanchard on the Pith day of December, 1961 at a
apeoial aeeting held in the Village offices located at 5499 Adams
