PROCEEDING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW
RAMSEY COUNTY
MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special
Meeting of the Village Council was called to order at .0 :40 A.M.,
Saturday, March 31, 1962 at the Village Office, 2401 Highway #10.

James Mahoney

An insurance proposal for the Village was submitted by
J. Mahoney as follows: Liability same as last year, workmens
compensation, Burglary, Bonds, Fire Insurance, same; no changes
on Water Tank and Tower, Building and contents
Motion by Malvin to purchase Comp. General Liability from
Mr. Paul Bengston; the workmens comp, burglary, bonds, and fire
insurance from Mr. James Mahoney. Seconded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes
The Clerk's Office was directed to request a report
from the Village Engineer on dates the Village should obtain
insurance coverage on the Utility Building Water Tank and Tower.
Motion by Crane to authorize the Engineer and Attorney
to acquire the right of way for the storm sewer easement along the
line of the existing storm sewer between Pinewood and Terrage Drive.
Seconded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes
The Clerk's Office was directed to request an opinion from
Attorney Mr. Meyers on advisability of purchasing product liability
for the Water Depaatment.(approximately $45.00 annual premium.)
Motion by Crane to order two sets of Section Maps from the
Ramsey County Assessor's Office. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes
The Clerk's Office was instructed to investigate the
price of steel cabinets large enough to be used for storage for the
use of the Recreation Department.
Motion by Blanchard to adjourn. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes
