Perauent to due call and notice thereof a Special
Meeting of the Village Council was called to order at 3:10 P.M.
Thursday, October 11, 1962 at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10.
Present Were:
Mayor: Allan B. Crane
Clerk: Lloyd J, Blanchard
Trustees: Perry Malvin
John L. Sullivan
Also Present:
Engineers
Adm. Deputy Clerk
Les Knutson
Paul E. Boog
Objectors names and their objectinsto the street and
storm sewer assessments (Clint's Addition) were read and
discusspdi
Mr. Knutson explained procedures used in computing
assessments.
Motion by Sullivan to adopt corrected storm sewer assess-
ment roll/ Only correction elimination of assessment on
Dietz property which received no benefit.)
Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes.
Motion by Blanchard to adopt corrected street Improvement_
assessment roll. (only correction reduction of Mr. Holschuh's
assessment by $50,69.) Secondedd by Crane. 4 Ayes
Motion by Crane to set the length of the assessment period
at 1 year 6% interest, Seconded 7 ,1y Malvin, 4 Ayes
Clerk was instructed to notify benefited property owners
of prepayment period and possibility of extension of assessment
period up to three years.
Motion by Malvin to grant a 30 day extension of time to
Lewis Lines for cleaning up their property. (expires 11/12/62)
Seconded by Crane. 4 Ayes.
Motion by Blanchard to set a public Hearing for house
moving permit for 0.C. Braathen on November 12, 1962 8:00 P.M.
Seconded by Crane. 4 Ayes
Mc ±Ion by Crane to get a Public Hearing on October 22, 1962
8:30 P.M. for the rezoning of Lot 62 Auditor's Subdivision #89 fr
from R1 -8 angle family dwellings to B -3 General Business.
Seconded by Mad in. 4 Aye^
Motion by Blanchard to adjourn. Seconded by Sullivan. ".des
Meeting adjourned at 3:50 P.M.
