Trustee. Motion by Austad to approve the appointment of Charles
La Vaque as Trustee to fill the unexpired term of Hodges. Term mil)

Motion by Hodges to designate the Now Brighton State Bankā¢as
the depository of the Village Funds. Seconded by Rustad. 5 Ayes.
Motion by La Vaque to appoint t':o New Brighton Bulletin as the

Mr. Blanchard read the minutes of the Police Commission Meeting
of December 30, 1963,
Motion by Hodges to concur with the recommendation of the Police Com.
and accept the resignation of Sergeant Rustad and appoint Duane Hagen
as Police Sergeant.. To hire, Officer Duane Hagen as a full time Police
Officer at a salary of five hundred dollars (3500.00) per month
beginning January 15, 1964. Seconded by La Value. 5 Ayes.
Mayor Hodges requested that a Police work schedule be prepared
and presented by the next Council Meeting.
Motion by Rustad to accept Resolution 142 A RESOLUTION
DESIGNATING AND APPOINTING L.J. BLANCH-.ARD AS REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE
BOARD OF TRUSTEE'S OF THE NORTH SUBURBAN SANITARY SEWER DISTRICT FOR
THE YEAR 1964. Seconded by Sullivan. 4 Ayes.
Blanchard abstained,
The B E Patrol contract was discussed and it was agreed that the
monthly reports from the B E Patrol firm must be received by the
Village more promptly.
