P s The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was
called to order by Mayor Hodges at 8:00 P.M., December 28, 1964,
at 2401 Highway 10.

Motion by La Vaque to approve minutes of December 14, 1964
as presented. Seconded by Rustad. 4 Ayes.
Motion by Rustad to refer request for abondonment of
Edgewood Drive easement from Mr. J. Eastman be referred to Attorney
and Engineer. Seconded by La Vaque. 4 Ayes.
Mr. Samuel B. Fried brought to the attention of the Council
an error in the minutes of December 14, 1964.
Motion by Hodges to strike sentence 2, Paragraph 9.
Line 2 (stating "Meyers read of minutes of December 14, 1964.
Seconded by La Vaque. 4 Ayes.
Mr. J. Stork* requested the Council to consider hiring
an outside firm to do an audit of Village Books.
The Clerk's Office will have a representative of the public
examiners office at the next agenda meeting to discuss this matter.
Mr. Ken Ballenger requested the recreation department to
install First Aid Kits at warming houses and consider hiring more
mature help.
Motion by Hodges to approve the prelin.i plans for new
T. H. #10 as presented and to adopt Resolution(# 182 o stating.
Seconded by Rustad, 4 Ayes.
After considerable discussion regarding snow removal,
Mr. Rustad stated he would tour the Village with Dean Anklan, County
Engineer, to point up the problem.

Mr. La Vaque read the minutes of the Planning Commission
Meeting.(copy on file)
Motion by La Vaque to notify developers of property for
proposed mobile home that their rezoning application must be accompanied
by a petition from the affected homecwners as stated in the ordinance.
Seconded by Rustad. 4 Ayes.
Mr. Blanchard stated that the reason for the above motion
v:-'s that if the Council initiated the rezoning on their own, it and J[J1 4:3
be so construed that the Council has anade their decision before the
public hearing.
Motion by Blanchard to discontinue water billing at
7905 Greenfield until leak at curb stop is repaired.
Seconded by La Vaque. 4 Ayes.
Motion by La Vaque to send inspectors to University of
Minnesota center for continuation study for the annual inspectors
conference and school, with expenses incurred to be born by the Village.
Seconded by Hodges. 4 Ayes.
The Clerk's Office was directed to purchase a new four
drawer file cabinet for the inspection department.
The Engineer reported the following:
1. Change Order 1 Project 1964 -2
2. Proposed water extension on County Road H extended.
3. Quincy Adams drainage problem.
4. Twelve Oaks area park drainage and upgrading.
Motion by Blanchard to approve Change Order 1 on water
roject 1964 -2 and authorize The Clerk and Mayor to execute.

Motion by Rustad to order preliminary study from Engineer
for water extension on County Road H from Irondale Road to Highway 10
crd to set a public hearing on this matter at 9:00 P.M., February 8,
'965. Seconded by La Vaque. 4 Ayes.
Quincy Adams drainage referred to the agenda meeting.
Proposed upgrading of park property in Twelve Oaks area
2ferred to agenda meeting.
Mr. Meyers presented the lease agreement for the Bel -Rae
3allroom to use the Village ''ater Tower for T.V. Aerial.
Motion by Blanchard to approve license application.

Motion by Blanchard to pay all bills submitted totaling

A letter from the County Attorney regarding taxes at Lake
de Park was referred to the Attorney.
As assessment correction for Lot 7, Block 2, Johnson
^race was referred to the Attorney.
Mr. Hodges at the request of a citizen will prepare a report
n the Village parks and recreation committee.
Mr. Rustad will check on the Bel -Rae Ballroom teen dances
certain what is being done in regards to the Mounds View School
strict "Better dress code."
Motion by Rustad to adjourn.. Seconded by Le Vaque. 4 Ayes.
