VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special Meeting
of the Village Council was called to order by Mayor Hodges at 3:40 p.m.
May 11, 1965 at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway 10.

A lengthy discussion was held on methods of removal and
types of Federal Financial Assistance regarding the hazards caused by
the tornado. The Emergency Planning Coordinator, Allen reviewed
the eligibility projec applications, advances of funds, and
preparation of claims.
Motion by Malvin to approve the contract with Herbst
Construction Company t. remove the debris and wreckage causing a
public health and safety hazard, the cost not to exceed $72,500.00.
Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. Motion Carried.
The next meeting is to be held on Wednesday May 12, 1965
at 4:00 P.M.
Motion by Blanchard to adjourn. Seconded by La Vague.
