HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - 1965/07/19PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special Meeting of the Village Council was called to order by Acting Mayor Rustad: at 7:00 P.M. July 19, 1965 at 2401 Highway 10, St. Paul, Minnesota Present Were: Acting Mayor: Clerk: Trustee: Absent: Mayor: Trustee: Also Present: Engineer: Adm. Clerk: Public Works Ingram Rustad Lloyd J. Blanchard Charles La'Vaque Donald C. Hodges Perry Malvin Eldon Comstock Paul E. Boog Walter Skiba The Public Hearing was called to consider amending the official zoning map pursuant to section 11.1 of Ordinance 67 to rezone the following described property from R -la and R -2 to 8 -3 for the purpose of issuing a special use permit to establish, construct and maintain a mobile home park in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance 98 and amendments thereof: Parcel 1 from R -1A to B -3 The East !I of the East Ji of the Northeast of Section 8, Township 30, Range 23 except the North 8 acres thereof and except Norsemans 1st Addition, and subject to State Trunk Highway. Parcel 2 From R -2 to B -3 The West 150 feet of the East of the East 16 of the Northeast S4 of Section 8, Township 30. Range 23 except the North 8 acres thereof and except that part platted as Norsemans First Addition. This property is located North of County Road H -2 between Raymond Avenue and State Highway 8. (35 W) The Acting Mayor called for objectors: 1. Jesse Bennett 2145 Belle Lane objects to mobile home park because of probable traffic problem. Acting Mayor Rustad called three times for further objectors. There were none. Acting Mayor Rustad closed the hearing at 7:10 P.M. Motion by Blanchard to direct the Engineer to prepare a change order on street resurfacing under the. sewer contracts. Seconded by La Vaque. 3 Ayes. Motion by Blanchard to set a Public Hearing for the water improvement extension on Arden Avenue between Long Lake Road and Eastwood Road in conjunction with street improvement hearing August 9, 1965 at 9:00 P.M. and directing the Engineer to prepare preliminary report. 3 Ayes. Seconded by La Vaque. -2- Motion by Blanchard to pay the Herbst Bill submitted totaling $53.407.53. Seconded by Rusted. 3 Ayes. Motion by La Vague to adjourn. Seconded by Blanchard. 3 Ayes.
