VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special Meeting of the
Village Council was called to order by Mayor Rustad at 6 :30 p.m.
January 3, 1966 at the Villag% Hall, 2401 Highway 10.
Present Were:
Mayor: Ingram C. Rustad
Clerk: Lloyd J. Blanchard
Trustee: Gary K. Lang
Trustee: Perry Malvin

Public Works:
Meeting adjourned at 7:25 p.m.

Motion by Rustad to appoint the First State Bank of New Brighton
as Depository for 1966. Seconded by Lang. 4 ayes.
Motion by Malvin to appoint the New Brighton Bulletin as the
Official Newspaper for 1966. Seconded by Blanchard.
4 ayes.
Motion by Rustad to appoint Perry Malvin as Acting Mayor for
1966. Seconded by Blanchard. 4 ayes.
Motion by Rustad to appoint Charles D. La Vague as Justice of
Peace to fill the vacancy created by resignation of Charles Hall.
Seconded by Lang. 4 ayes.
Motion by Rustad to appoint Richard S. Johnson, 5046 Longview
Drive as Trustee to fill the vacancy created by election of Rustad
to Mayor. Seconded by Malvin. 4 ayes.
A letter from the Engineer regarding bids on sewer maintenance
equipment was read and discussed. (Copy attached to official
minutes.) The bids were referred to the next regular meeting.
Motion by Malvin to adjourn. Seconded by Blanchard.
5 ayes.
