Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting
of the Village Council was called to order by Mayor Rustad
on August 15, 1966 at 6:45 P.M. at the Village Hall, 2401
Highway #10.
Officials Present:
Mayor InO•am Rustad

Trustee Perry Malvin
Trustee Richard Johnson
Trustee Gary Lang
Also Present:
Engineer Shelly Boehm
Motion by Blanchard to appoint the following election
judges for the primary election to be held September 13,
1966:

Seconded by Rustad. 5 Ayes.
Motion by Rusted to set public hearing for Spring View
Lane from Knollwood Drive west to Lot 78. Hearing to be held
September 6, 1966 at 7:00 P.M. Seconded by Johnson.
5 Ayes.
At 7:00 P.M. the Mayor opened the public hearing on
curb and gutter improvement for Eastwood and Greenwood.
The Clerk read the legal and attested to the mailing
and publishing of same.
The Mayor called for objectors and they are as follows:
Bill Johnson 5065 Eastwood Drive Does not want
Jerry Ferrick 5092 Eastwuod Drive Does not want
The Mayor called three times for objectors and there
were none. The hearing was closed.
Motion by Johnson to order curb and gutter for Eastwood
between County Road H and Woodcrest and on Greenwood between
Woodcrest and Woodale. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes.
Mr. Boehm, Village Engineer, presented several change
orders.
Motion by Blanchard to adopt change order #3 for Project
1966 -5. Seconded by Johnson. 5 Ayes.
Motion by Malvin to adopt change order #1 for Project
1966 -8. Seconded by Lang. 5 Ayes.
Motion by Rustad to adopt change order #1 for Project
1966 -1. Seconded by Johnson. 5 Ayes.
The Engineer was directed to have oil seal coat on
streets as per direction of Gary Lang under change order
with Dunklbf Surfacing.
The Council's decision for assessments is as follows:
1. $1.50 for street assessment for Quincy and Bona Road
2. The full cost of Ardan Avenue Road Improvement
Extension to be borne by abbutting property owners.
3. Greenwood Road not to be completed. Mr. Skiba was
drrettted pdtrbartichdecin place. r.
4. C unty4Hoads•will be; assessed $1.50 per foot.
5. Fourth Street delete construction south of Woodcrest
The matter of open basements on Quincy Street, north of
Hillview, was referred to Mr. Johnson.
Motion by Blanchard to allow a 4 foot variance for a
garage at 2242 Lambert Avenue, subject to filing of fees
and forms. Seconded by Johnson. 5 Ayes.
(Lang abstained.)
Motion by Blanchard to adjourn. Seconded by Lang.
