The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was
called to order by Mayor Rusted at 8:00 p.m. on August 22, 1966
at the Village Hall 2401 Highway 10.

Motion by Malvin to approve the minutes
as presented. Seconded by Lang.

Mr. John Robertus who lives at the intersection of Co.
Rd. H and Silver Lake Road requested "Speed Limit" signs on
Silver Lake Road. He was informed that this was a County road.
The Clerk's office was directed to send a letter to Ramsey County
requesting them to install signs. He also asked who was the
Engineer for the sewer project on Co. Rd. H. He was informed to
call Dick Sha at Midland Consultants.
Mr. Wilken 2283 Knoll Drive questioned the width of village
streets. He informed the Council that Knoll Drive varies from
28 29 at the widest point in front of his home by his measure-
ment. He informed the Council of the terrible condition that the
Hillview Apartments are in. The home on LaPort that has had tar
paper on it since December. The apartments on the north end of
Quincy are deteriorating. Referred to Dick Johnson.
Mrs. Florence Peterson 2277 Knoll Drive wanted to know
when the torn up boulevard would be replaced and the patio blocks
replaced in cement on the edge of her drive. Mr. Comstock informed
her that they are starting work behind the curb in the Pinewood
area and will proceed the same as the installation of streets.
A resident from 5467 Quincy Street was referred to the Engineer
regarding his driveway grade.
Mr. Robertus was informed to contact Mr. Harold Wilken of
Ramsey County regarding the grade of his driveway to Silver Lake Road.
