Proceedings of the Village Council <br />Village of Mounds View <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council ''as <br />called to order by. Mayor Rusted at 8:00 P. M. on September 26, 1966 <br />at the Village Hall —2401 Highway 10. <br />Officials Present: <br />Mayor <br />Clerk <br />Trustee <br />Trustee <br />Trustee <br />Also Present: <br />Attorney <br />Engineer <br />Public works <br />Ingram C. Rustad <br />Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Gary Lang <br />Richard Johnson <br />Perry Malvin <br />Richard Meyers <br />Sheldon Boehm <br />Walter Skiba <br />Motion by Rustad to approve the minutes of September 12,1966 <br />as presented. Seconded by Johnson. 5 Ayes <br />Motion by Johnson to approve the minutes of September 19, <br />1966, as presented. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes <br />Mr. K. J. Connant from the Minnesota Safety Council presented <br />the Pedestrian Safety Citation to Chief Grabowski. He stated this <br />is especially good because of the fact that we donit have sidewalks. <br />Motion by Johnson to place Optional Plan A government on the <br />ballot for the November Election. Seconded by Rustad. 5 Ayes <br />The Attorney explained the above action to interested citizens. <br />Mr. Malvin reported that stop signs are being placed through- <br />out the Village as approved by the Police Department. <br />Motion by Malvin to order street lights at the intersection <br />of Knollwood and Woodcrest, Knollwood and Woodale. Seconded by <br />Johnson. 5 Ayes <br />Motion by Lang to approve the lot split as requested by Mr. <br />J. Clobes 8088 Edgewood Drive subject to fees and papers. <br />Seconded by Johnson. 5 Ayes <br />The matter of extending Jackson Drive from Pinewood Drive to <br />County Road I was referred to the Engineer for report. <br />The Mayor was excused at 8 :150 P. M <br />The Engineer presented a letter regarding the ditch on Wood <br />crest Drive.- increase cost of $3,837.00. <br />Motion by Malvin to prepare change order in the amount of <br />$485.00 for a 6 foot walkway between Quincy and Erickson and auth- <br />orize the Mayor and Clerk to execute. Seconded by Johnson. 4 Ayes. <br />
