Mayor Rusted at 8:00 P. M. on September 26, 1966 at the Village Hall —2401 Highway 10. Officials Present: Mayor Clerk Trustee Trustee Trustee Also Present: Attorney Engineer Public works Ingram C. Rustad Lloyd J. Blanchard Gary Lang Richard Johnson Perry Malvin Richard Meyers Sheldon Boehm Walter Skiba Motion by Rustad to approve the minutes of September 12,1966 as presented. Seconded by Johnson. 5 Ayes Motion by Johnson to approve the minutes of September 19, 1966, as presented. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes Mr. K. J. Connant from the Minnesota Safety Council presented the Pedestrian Safety Citation to Chief Grabowski. He stated this is especially good because of the fact that we donit have sidewalks. Motion by Johnson to place Optional Plan A government on the ballot for the November Election. Seconded by Rustad. 5 Ayes The Attorney explained the above action to interested citizens. Mr. Malvin reported that stop signs are being placed through- out the Village as approved by the Police Department. Motion by Malvin to order street lights at the intersection of Knollwood and Woodcrest, Knollwood and Woodale. Seconded by Johnson. 5 Ayes Motion by Lang to approve the lot split as requested by Mr. J. Clobes 8088 Edgewood Drive subject to fees and papers. Seconded by Johnson. 5 Ayes The matter of extending Jackson Drive from Pinewood Drive to County Road I was referred to the Engineer for report. The Mayor was excused at 8 :150 P. M The Engineer presented a letter regarding the ditch on Wood crest Drive.- increase cost of $3,837.00. Motion by Malvin to prepare change order in the amount of $485.00 for a 6 foot walkway between Quincy and Erickson and auth- orize the Mayor and Clerk to execute. Seconded by Johnson. 4 Ayes. The matter of Red 'yak Drive was discussed and the engineer reported that the Ramsey County Engineer's ')ffice intends to lay the mat this year if weather permits otherwise this will be done in the Spring. The Clerk's r)ffice was directed to contact the owner of the Mobile Home Park and request his presence at the agenda meeting. The inspectors are to check the park Saturday and make report at Mondays meeting. Meyers will attend. The Village Attorney was directed to have the proposed amendments to the zoning ordinance for the next regular meeting. The road restriction ordinance is being prepared by the Engineer and Attorney. This will be discussed at the regular meeting. The attorney repotted that necessary Condemnation bearings begin Tuesday, Sept. 27, 1966. Motion by Blanchard to pay bins submitted totaling Seconded by Lang. 4 Ayes Motion by Blanchard to approve licenses submitted. Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes Motion by Blanchard to adopt Resolution #259 for apportion- ment of assessments. Seconded by Johnson. 4 Ayes Motion by Blanchard to pay final estimate to Knutson Meurer for improvement project 1965 -4 and enter into a one year warranty agreement. Seconded by Johnson. 4 Ayes Motion by Blanchard to accept res:.,4:_tion of as Custodian and hire Mrs. Jacob Gross at 1.50 per Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes Motion by Johnson to adjourn.
