HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - 1966/09/29Proceedings of the Village Council Village of Mounds View Ramsey County, Minnesota Persuant to due call and notice there •f a special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View was called to order at the Village Hall on Thursday, September 29, 1966 at 7:00 P.M. with the following members present Rustad, Blanchard, Johnson, and Lang and the following members absent Malvin. The clerk presented affidavits of publication of the notice of hearing and attested to mailing of same. The Village Attorney explained the assessment pro- cedure according tc the Minnesota State Law. The Engineer explained the affected area by project number and explained the boundaries. WATER PROJECT 1965 -1 Water frontage $6.05 per foot NSSSD'Service $174.00 per service Regular Service $80.04 per service The mayor called three times for objections and they are as follows: Mr. Case School District 621 -they were pre- viously assessed, questioned amount of benefit. Mr. Ellsworth Fankhanel Ellsworth questioned benefit. There were no further objectors. WATER PROTECT 1965 -3 Water frontage $5.05 per foot Water Service 154.80 per service The mayor called three times for objections and were none. WITNESSED MESAS, The State proposes to construct Trunk Higlzay 39d within the limits of the Villaga, and WHEREAS, le the jmigmrant of the Ccemdssioner, in the interest of safety and for convenient public travel and in mitigation of damages, the State proposes to construct a frontage road within the Village, and WHEREAS, Said frontage road (identified as Northwest Frontage Road), located westerly of Trunk Highway 35i and northerly of interehan) at County Road "I" as shown an the layout sheet marked nixhisit A" attached hereto and made a pert hereof, and WHEREAS, The Village consents to the construction of said frontage road substantially as shown on Exhibit A and is willing to maintain said road after the same has been completed. NOW', THEREFCRS, IT IS AGREED: I That pursuant to the Laws of 19591 Chapter 500, Article II, Section 24 (X.s.A. 161.24) and Section 38 (H.s.A. 161.38) as amended by the LAW of Hinnesota, 1961, Chapter 997, the work on the frcntagp road will be done in conjunction with the construction of Trunk Highway 35w within the Village of Mounds View in accordance with the plans labeled S. P. 0280.11 and 6284:8, dated Ju]y 22, 1966, on filo in the office of the Cocsrd:,siorer of Highways, St. Paul, Minnesota, which plans are made a part hereof by reference.
