Blanchard Trustee Richard Johnson Trustee Perry Malvin Also present; Engineer Sheldon Boehm Attorney Richard Meyers Treasurer Irene Edberg Absents Trustee Gary Lang Motion by Jchnson to approve the minutes of the September 28, 1966 meeting as presented. Seconded by Malvin 4Ayes. Motion by Malvin to approve the minutes of September 29, 1966 as presented.: Seconded by Rustad. 4 Ayes Motion by Malvin to approve the minutes of October 4, 1966 as presented.: Seconded by Johnson. 4 Ayes Motion by Malvin to approve the minutes of October 5, 1966 as presented. Seconded by Johnson, 4 Ayes. Motion by Rustad to approve the minutes,of October 10, 1966 as presented Seconded by Malvin. 4Ayes Motion by Johnson to approve the minutes of October 17, 1966 as presented, Seconded by Rustad. 4 Ayes. Several residents asked for a complete breakdown of rec- reation expenses and the Clerk informed them that they could obtain this information from the office and that a report would be given at the next regylar meeting. Mr. Blanchard gave a report on the 1967 budget. Mr. Dropps requested an emergency sewer hook -up as soon as possible. This was referred to the Engineer. The problem of water standing in the ditch along Silver Lake Road was referred to the Engineer. Mr. Malvin was directed to investigate the possibility of equalizing on police gas ppurchases. Mr. R. A. Walger,2091 Sherwood Road informed the Council of the damage to his fence line during sewer construction. This matter was referred to the Engineer. Floyd Bardwell and Jack Kruegen questioned the possibility of an error in their aaseegment for water. This was referred t the Engineer. The decision of the Court reguarding the standards set by the Minnesota Water Pollution Control Commission for the Mississippi River was favorable to the District. Standards were declared not reasonable nor constitutional. The Highway Department Resolution reguarding maintenance responsibility for the new frontage road from County Road I to Hillview was referred to the Attorney to request the department representatives presence at an agenda meeting to discuss the matter. Office) will request this through Commissioner 3d, Salverda, Motion by Malvin to allow Comstock and Davis to do survey work for Lot 4 Block 5 LaPorte Meadows. Seconded by :2hnson. 4 Ayes. Motion by Malvin to authorize the Attorney to attend the S.S.S.D. meeting on Tuesday October 25, 1966 in behalf of .3unds View Village. Seconded by Johnson. 4 Ayes. The pose bility of Municipal Court was discussed. Motion by Blanchard to approve the following licenses. Mermaid Supper Club On and Off Sale Liquor C. Motion by Blanchard to adopt Resolution 263 for Pnportionmeht of assessments on lot splits. Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. Motion by Blanchard to approve the following Election Jurb for the Noeember 8, 1966 Election.
