The notice was read and the Clerk attested to its publication in the Bulletin of September 21, 1967 and notification of all parties concerned. Mr. Shaw (Spring View Lane) questioned his assessment total. The Mayor read his assessment figures. The Mayor called for objections three times. The hearing was closed at 7:06 P.M. M /S /P (Rustad,Johnson) To adopt the assessment role for the Water Improvement Project 1966 -9 Engineer Boehm and Mayor Rustad discussed progress in the attempt to get traffic lights at County Road H and Highway #10. Lights have been located and additional details are being worked out. A report on Mrs. Hackett was read and the Mayor and Council directed that a letter will be written giving Mrs. Hackett 30 days to comply with Village directives. Special assessment hearing on Project 1967 -1 was called to order at 7:30 P.M. Attorney Meyers present also. The notice was read and the Clerk attested to its publication in the Bulletin of Septembet 21, 1967 and notification of all parties concerned. The Engineer read the assessment rates and offered to give specific costs if requested. Mr. White of Skyline Motel requested that his assessments be read. The Engineer and Attorney quoted the costs and discussed them with Mr. White. The Engineer explained interest free payment within 30 days after which it will be certified to the county. Interest rates and duration of payments were reviewed. Adam Rybak asked that his assessment costs be read. The Engineer read his assessments and those for William Rybak. Mayor kustad called for objections. Mr, Rybak objects to method of computing frontage and frontage total. Mayor kustad called for objections twice. Hearing clos at 7:49 P.M. 5 Ayes Mr. Newcombe discussed his wat,:r installation problems, dating back to 1963. Concerns a short water extension he disagrees with and couldn't get re, :son:ble access to. Also objects to $100.00 late hook -up charge. He doesn't object to assessments or other charges however. 3 M /S /P (Johnson,L.ang) To defer the late fee of $100.00 for Mr. Newcombe. 5 Ayes Special hearing called to order at 8:00 P.M. on moving a house to a Location at 7755 Spring Lake Road. The Mayor called for objections. Mrs. White objects. She signed the petition but withdraws her name because of a conflict with the contract. The Attorney states names cannot be withdrawn at the hearing. The legality of hearing was questioned due to vagueness of who is the legal owner. By Attorney's recommendation at 8:14 P.M. the hearing was adjourned until next Monday night at 8:30 P.M. M /S /P (Rustad,Johnson) To approve Res. 330 apportioning the assessments for Div. #37857 for D.P. 34, 37, 47, 53. 5 Ayes M /S /P (Lang,Malvin) To approve Res. 331 apportioning the assessments for Div. 4137949 for D.P. 34, 37, 47, and 53. 5 Ayes M /S /P (Walser,Rustad) To approve deletion of $660.00 for Arnold Johnson part of Div. #37949 from D.P. 53 for parcel 59- 0060- 150 -43.
