HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - 1968/10/07PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY MINNESOTA October 7, 1968 A Special Meeting of the Village Council was called to order by Mayor Rustad Monday evening, October 7, 1968 at 6:40 P. M. at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. Present: Mayor Rustad Councilman Malvin Councilman Lang Ctmc.lman Johnson Also Present: Deputy Clerk Zylla. Engineer Boehm Superintendent Skiba Attorney Meyers Gerald Toberman and Harold Ellsworth appeared requesting final rezoning with special use permit, and approval of building plans for Towns Edge Mobile Home Park located at: Parcel #1 Subject to Highway, the South eight (81 acres of part of North east Quarter of the Northeast Quarter NE% NEW Westerly of line running Southeasterly 425 feet MOL from North Section line par with and 75 feet Southwesterly from CL of STH 10 -62; thence Southeasterly to point 495 feet North of and 516.12 feet West of South and East lines of said 1/4 1/4; thence South 495 feet par with East line of Section 17, Township 30, Range 23; and a corridor strip no greater than 100 feet wide for access to TH 10 on the Southeast corner of said parcel containing 12/100th of an acre more or less. Parcel #2 And Subject to Highway, the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (NVt NE%) of Section 17, Township 30, Range 23. Generally located north of Mounds View Industrial Park. M/S/P (Malvin, Lang) To rezone from I -1 to B -3 the N11& of the NE of Section 17, Township 30, Range 23, suject to Highway, for construction of a mobile home park subject to restrictions as set forth in special use permit. Conditionally rezoned 1/25/65. Parcel #1 is currently zoned B -3. Council was concerned over future complaints from persons moving in before the park is completed. Owners suggested they have occupants sign an agreement or affadavit divesting the Council of any responsibility in regards to persons moving in before completion. Council feels this is impractical. Park construction to be in segments of no more than 10 units. 2. Utilities must be in each segment before occupants can move in. 3. Completion to be by August 1, 1969. 4. No units on any lots unless the lots conform to Ordinance R98. Attorney Meyers presented final copy of Resolution R401 approved September 27, 1968. M/S/P (Johnson, Lang) To approve Resolution R ?403 authorizing the County Auditor to levy for General Fund $55,000,00 Civil Defense 1,300.00 PERA 11.700.00 Total levy $68,000.00 for 1969.
