HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - 1970/03/16A Special Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Rustad at 7:10 P.M. on Monday, March 16, 1970, at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. Present: Mayor Rustad Councilman Hodges Councilman Blanchard Councilman Neisen Absent: Councilman Malvin PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA March 16, 1970 Also Present: Clerk- Administrator Zylla Attorney Meyers Engineer Boehm Inspector Skiba MSP (Rustad/Blanchard) To hold a hearing March 31st, 1970 at 6:00 P.M. to consider the matter of suspension or revocation of the on sale intoxicating liquor license of Burton Rozman and Bennett Goldberg, and if there are any further violations between now and the hearing the Chief of Police is authorized to padlock the Mermaid Supper Club. Bennett Goldberg asked if there were any violations that warranted suspension. Chief Grabowski explained that the problems centered around contact with minors and other disturbances. Some discussion followed and Mayor Rustad stated the licensees could present their views more fully on March 31st. 4 Ayes Burton Rozman stated that security precautions have been greatly increased since last weekend.
