Acting Mayor Blanchard at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, October 4, 1971 at the Village
Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112.

Absent:
MSP (Neisen /Hodges) September 27th minutes corrected by the insertion of
"Resolution #542" in the motion authorizing the placing of the park bond
question on the November 2nd ballot.
Residents Requests and Comments from the floor
MSP (Hodges /Neisen) To grant a variance of 6" to White Oak Builders in the
room width of a bedroom in the home to be located at 5109 Irondale Road.
Bedroom size is 91 X 121 and house size is 1,360 square feet.

October 5th.

MSP (Johnson /Blanchard) To approve the following licenses: Asphalt H 0
Blacktop Company, Inc.; Cement Work Tony Bochenski; General Contractor
Royal Aluminum Products, Inc.; and Heating Barnes Heating and Air Cond. 4 Ayes
MSP (Johnson /Hodges) To approve the following bills: General check #5519 -5541,
Bond check #602 and Payroll checks #2310 -2329. Total disbursements $14,524.97. 4 Ayes
MSP (Neisen /Hodges) To approve the following election judges and counters:
Judges Precinct No. 1 Marilyn Benolkin, Roscile Hillsdale and Jane Nunn,
Precinct No. 2 Doris Welty, Geraldine Erickson and Ida Mae Larsen,
Precinct No. 3 Lenore Kinderman, Jan Mortenson and Lidia Groth, Counters
Precinct No. 1 Isabelle Wille, Joan Godeke and Helen Kuntz, Precinct No. 2

MSP (Hodges /Johnson) To adopt Resolutions 540 and 541 adopting a tax levy
for debt redemption of $48,300 and a tax levy for general purposes of $151,981
respectively. 4 Ayes
Acting Mayor Blanchard stated the Clerk was prepared to make a formal
presentation of the budget if anyone so desired, but no one had any
questions.
Attorney Meyers' Report

Attorney Meyers reported that Lloyd Moen has answered the summons.
Attorney Meyers presentee; a memorandum on binge ;mmarizing the State law
and Mounds View Ordinance #23. It was decided to amend our ordinance
relative to permit fees, leaving the game limit off, and charges for
Village examination of the sponsors records.
The Mounds View Lions have a formal request before the Council to conduct
bingo at the Bel Rae.
MSP (Neisen /Hodges) To approve the preliminary plat for East Oaks 2nd
Addition subject to a formal application and fees.
MSP (Neisen /Johnson) To adjourn at 8 :43 P.M. 4 Ayes
