HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - 1979/09/13PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Mayor McCarty called the meeting to order at 7:13 p.m. on September 13, 1979 at City Hall. Members Present: Mayor McCarty, Council- 2. Roll Call members Forslund, Rowley, Ziebarth Members Absent: Absent Hodges Also Present: City Administrator Nelson was present representing the staff. The Mayor noted that the purpose of this meeting was to complete unfinished business from Monday,September 10, 1979. The City Council wanted to insure that the street vacation of Mustang Lane had suff- icient time to elapse for the legal requirements. There was no one present to object to the proposal. Mayor McCarty called for the question on Resolution 1021. Ziebarth moved the adoption of Resolution 1021. It was seconded by Rowley. The motion carried. 4 ayes 0 nays The City received and regretfully accepted the resignation of Officer Loomis of the Mounds View Police Department. The Council was asked for permission to 5. Establishment of start the process for selection of corporal Corporal Postion position for the Mounds View Police Department by the Civil Service Commision. Mayor moved that the Commission could begin the selection process for corporal.
