The Mounds View City Council was called to order 1. CALL TO ORDER
at 7:00 p.m, on May 5, 1980 by Mayor McCarty
Members Present: Mayor McCarty, Forslund, Hodges,
Rowley, and Ziebarth.
Also Present: Attorney Meyers, Finance Director
Brager, and Building Zoning Official Rose.
Hodges moved to approve the Carnival License for
Midwest Rides at Mounds View Square. It was
seconded by Ziebarth.

Rowley moved to approve the hiring of Mary Tatarek
for the Accountant Position in the Finance Department,
at a beginning salary of $500.00 bi- weekly, with the
first day of employment on June 2, 1980 and a six
month probation period from first day of employment.

Ziebarth moved to approve the Finance Directors
appointment of Steve Rose to serve as Deputy
Treasurer. It was seconded by Rowley.

Ziebarth moved to approve the Mayors appointment
of Josey Warren to the Planning Commission, for
the unexpired term vacated by David Freemore,
ending January 1, 1981. It was seconded by Hodges.

Mayor called for any other business to come
before the City Council, upon hearing none, he
requested a motion for adjournment. Rowty moved
the adjournment of the May 5, 1980 meeting. 7iebarth
seconded the motion. 5 ayes
The motion carried. 0 nayes
Meeting was adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
