On November 6, 1984, the citizens of Mounds View provided me
with what I believe to be the ultimate reward for my work on
behalf of the City by electing me to the office of Mayor.
During the next two years, I hope to repay the citizens by
doing my best to work with the City Council in setting a new
course for the City by working and planning for a better
future for Mounds View,
Before I can accept the Mayor's gavel I must resign from my
current office of Councilmember. I, therefore, resign my
City Council seat effective immediately.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
Jerry Linke
