Call to order to order by Mayor Linke at 11:55 a.m. MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Linke, Quick, 2. Roll Call Hankner, Haake, Blanchard, ALSO PRESENT: Congressman Bruce Vento, Representative Dan Knuth, Senator Steve Novak, Clerk- Administrator Donald Pauley, City Attorney Richard Meyers, Public Works Director Steve Thatcher Executive Session 'uly 9, =1986 Mounds View City Hall 2401 Highway 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 City Attorney Meyers brought up the issue of who would serve on the two committees of the National Transportation Safety Board, i.e. operations committee and response committee. Motion /Second: Hankner Blanchard moved to appoint Ron Fagerstrom and Chief Police Ramacher to the Response Committee and Steve Thatcher and Richard Kelty to the Operations Committee. 5 ayes 0 nayes Discussion followed by all in attendance regarding the deposition and safe keeping of the portion of pipe that was removed from the site. It was agreed that the pipe would be sent to Twin City Testing and kept under lock and key while testing was being performed. Discussion followed by all to determine official position of the City. Discossion followed by all relating to a neighborhood support group for the residents in the pipeline disaster area. It was decided to look into and organize a group for that purpose.
