member Quick was absent due to illness.

Clerk- Administrator Pauley reviewed a
staff memorandum regarding the designa-
tion of an Official Newspaper and a
proposal received by the City from Post
Publications, the publisher of the FOCUS
Newspaper

Resolution No. 2280 as amended.

The Mounds View City Council was called 1. Call to order
to order by Mayor Linke at 7:02 p.m.
The Pledge of Allegiance was said. 2. Pledge of
Allegiance
Motion /Sec-:,nd: Linke /Hankner to adopt
Resolution No. 2285 designating the New
Brighton Bulletin as the City's Official
Newspaper, Phyllis Blanchard as the Act_ng
Mayor, and the First State Bank of New
Brighton as the City's primary despository.
ii.1ycr Linke moved to reappoint Peg
Mountin, Robyn Zollner, and Jean Miller
to the Planning Commission through 1990.
Lowell Uber to the Civil Service Commission
through 1990 and Wayne Burmeister and John
Daniels, Jr. to the Parks and Recreation
Commission through 1990.
Motion seconded by Hankner.
