HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - 1995/09/05APPROVED PROCEEDINGS OF THE .CITY COUNCIL CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA *Special Meeting (Meeting was called to order during September 5, 1995 Work Session) Mounds View City Hall 2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds Uew, MN 55112 CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 11:10 p.m. by ,Mayor Linke, ROLL CALL Mayor Linke, Councilmember Trude, Councilmember Blanchard, Councilmember Quick, Councilmember Hankner COUNCIL BUSINESS 1. Consideration of Resolution No. 4803 Authorizing the Mayor and City Council to Enter into a Contract with John Hammerschmidt for Golf Course Superintendent Services Administrator Orduno noted that a change needs to be made to the resolution noting that the agreement is not an employment contract, but rather a Contract with an Independent Contractor. Mr. Hammerschmidt wilt not be an employee of the City, but an independent contractor, with his own Worker's Compensation coverage. MOTION/SECOND: Hankner/Quick to Adopt Resolution No. 4803 Authorizing the Mayor and City Council to Enter into a Contract with John Hammerschmidt for Golf Course Supervisor VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried 2. Consideration of Resolution 4805 Reclassifying Position of Golf Course Manager to Clubhouse Supervisor Administrator Orduno noted that the request for reclassification is a result of the reorganizational changes made since the resignation of Mike Mueller, Golf Course Superintendent. Brus Von Ende will resume a position much like the one he held prior to being named Golf Course Manager and the compensation will be structured the same as his original position. Consideration of Resolution 4802 Amending the General Fund Budget to Account for Funds from NSP for Marketing Program MOTION/SECOND: Hankner/Quick to Adopt Resolution No. 4802 Amending the General Fund Budget to Account for Funds from NSP for Marketing Program VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried The meeting was adjourned at 11:15.
