STATE OF MINNESOTA
APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF SUPPLIES FOR GROUPED MAIBOXES FOR
THE 2011 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AREA D
WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council approved plans /specs and authorized
advertisement for the 2011 Street and Utility Improvement Project Area D on February
28, 2011, and;
WHEREAS, grouped mailboxes are installed as part of a street improvement
project, and supplied and fabricated by Public Works staff, and;
WHEREAS, Staff has received 3 quotes for lumber to construct the mailbox
posts, and;
WHEREAS, Spring Lake Park Lumber quoted an amount of $5,436.28, and;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does
hereby approve the purchase of mailboxes and the lumber to construct the necessary
mailbox posts from Spring Lake Park Lumber for $5,436.28 to be funded from account
number 410- 4650 -7050 with a maximum budget amount for all supplies not to exceed
$6,000.
