CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
A Resolution Approving the Hire of Agnes Quasabart
to the Position of Accountant in the Finance Department
WHEREAS, upon direction from the Mounds View City Council, the Accountant
position was advertised; and
WHEREAS, over eighty (80) applications were received for the position and six (6)
were chosen for interview; and,
WHEREAS, Ms. Agnes Quasabart's skills and experience were determined to most
closely match the duties and responsibilities as outlined in the Accountant job description;
and
WHEREAS, Ms. Quasabart's criminal background, credit check, and reference
checks are complete and satisfactory.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
appoints Ms. Agnes Quasabart to the position of Accountant with employment to
commence on March 29, 2011.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the City Council approves the salary scale for the
Accountant as indicated herein, with a starting salary for Ms. Quasabart at Step 1 of the
City's pay plan at $24.84 /hour, with an increase to Step 1.5 of the salary range (currently
$25.62 /hour) after six months of employment, Step 2 after one year of employment, Step 3
after two years of employment, Step 4 after 3 years of employment, and Step 5 after 4
years of employment, subject to City Council authorization.
Adopted this 14th day of March, 2011.
