June 11, 1958
A special mmeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View was
held June 11, 1958 at the Mounds View Village Hall, 1450 W. Highway 96.
The following members were present:

The meeting was opened at 8:02 P.M. by Mayor, James W. Gibson.
The minutes of the June 3, 1958 meeting were read and approved.
Motion by Achterkirch, seconded by Rustad to amend motion of previous
meeting regarding precincts to read as follows: Precinct #2, north of Highway 10
west of Long Lake Road to County Road I, north of County Road I and West of
Jackson Drive to Hillview Road and north of Hillview Road to Highway 8; Precinct #3,
north of Highway 10, East of Long Lake Road to County Road I, south of County Road
I and east to Jackson Drive, East of Jackson Drive and North to Hillview Road,
south of Hillview Rd. and East to Highway 8. The following voted aye-- Achterkirch,
Gibson, Irvine, Rustad and Sullivan. Motion carried.
WHEREAS, At a meeting of the Village Council of Mounds View and upon the
recommendation of the Village Engineer, Otto Bonestroo, held on June 11, 1958,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Mounds View:
1. Such an improvement that has been recommended by the Village Engineer
relative to the proposed improvement of Edgewood Drive is hereby adopted.
2. That appropriate publications shall be made in the Construction Bulletin
and legal newspaper as directed by the VillageAttorney.
3. Said notices shall be published June 18 and 19 and the bids will be open
in the Village Hall on July 1, 1958 at 9:00 o'clock P.M. Said improvement shall
be paid by assessment of benefited property owners and /or from general funds.
The above resolution was moved by Sullivan and seconded by Achterkirch and
was duly passed and adopted this llth day of June, 1958.
Motion by Achterkirch, seconded by Sullivan to hold a hearing at 7:30 P.M.
on July 1, 1958 in regard, to the improvement on Edgewood Rd. The following voted
aye--Achterkirch, Gibson, Irvine, Rustad and Sullivan. Motion carried.
