HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000001_pg088 June 17, 1958 A special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View was held June 17, 1958 at the Mounds View Village Hall, 1450 West Highway 96. The following members were present: Mayor: James W. Gibson Clerk: Martha Irvine Deputy Clerk: Mary Jean Milbrandt Trustees: John L. Sullivan Ingram C. Rustad Legal Counsel: Richard Meyers and the following member was absent: Reuben G. Achterkirch. The meeting was opened at 8:03 P.M. by Mayor, James W. Gibson. Herman Bentrup, 8158 Red Oak Drive appeared regarding the home located at that address. Mr. Bentrup was given information by the Council and the Building Inspector as to what could be done to bring this home up to the building code. Donald Bona, Dog Catcher, offered several suggestions to be considered when revising the dog ordinance: The Clerk and the Mayor gave brief reports on the League of Minnesota Municipalities Convention. The Council's recommendation for roads to be designated as State Aid Roads are as follows: Hillview from Highway 8 to Redoak Drive. Quincy from County Rd. H2 to County Road I. Knollwood from County Road H to County Road H2. Redoak from County Road J to Highway 10. Edgewood Drive from County Road H2 to Woodale Drive. Office hours for the Clerk's office beginning July 1, 1958 will be 8:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Monday through Friday and 6 :30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. Tuesdays. Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Rustad to set Treasurer's salary at $l5.00 per month. The following voted aye -- Gibson, Irvine, Rustad and Sullivan. Motion carried. Motion by Rustad, seconded. by Sullivan to purchase Hermes Typewriter for Clerk's Office. The following voted aye -- Gibson, Irvine, Rustad and Sullivan. Motion carried.
