VILLAGE EIRCTION
December 2, 1958
At the Annual Village Election of the Village of Mounds View in the County
of Ramsey and State of Minnesota, held at Precinct #1, Messiah Lutherean Church;
Precinct #2, Spring Lake Park Lutheran Church; Precinct #3, Pinewood School being
the place where it was directed to be held by the Village Council after giving
due notice thereof as -nrovided by law, on the 2nd day of December, 1958, with the
following qualified voters of said Village, acting as Judges and clerks of such
Election, each of whom had been appointed by the Village Council to act as Judges
and Clerks respectively of such election

Alice Frits Agnes Meyers

Ada Sopkowiak
Charlotte D. Jackson
who being present, at the hour Of 7 o'clock A.M., each of them duly took and
subscribed an oath to faithfully discharge the duties required of them at such
Election; and the sid Judges and Clerk being duly qualified, forthwith opened
the polls by proclamation, and the Election proceeded by ballot without adjournment
or intermission until closed.
The subjects voted on at such Election, as stated in the Notice thereof, were:
To elect
1 Trustee for a term of three years
1 Clerk for a term of two years
1 Justice of the Peace for a term of two years
At 8:00 o'clock P.M. of said day the polls were closed, proclamation thereof
having been made by one of the Judges thirty minutes previous thereto. The Judges
then proceeded to publicly count and canvass the votes, and a true statement thereof
was ,duly proclaimed to the voters by the Clerk who recorded the same in the Village
Minute Book.
STATEMENT OF RESULT OF CANVASS
The following is a true statement of the result of the counting and canvass of votes
by ballot at the Annual Village Election of the Village of Mounds View County of Ramsey,
and State of Minnesota, held December 2, 1958 as proclaimed to the voters by the
Clerk of Election:
Melford C. Christensen received 211 votes for Trustee, term of 3 years
Ingram C. Rustad received 158 votes for Trustee, term of 3 years
Frank Kilroe received 1 vote for Trustee, term of 3 years
Melford C. Christensen was declared elected Trustee, term of 3 years
Martha Irvine received 144 votes for Clerk
Earl E. Smith received 227 votes for Clerk
Earl E. Smith was declared elected Clerk
