Trustee Sullivan presented a complaint that junk is being accumulated on property at the southeast corner of Sherwood and Long Lake Road. TheMayor will check. Trustee Sullivan presented a complaint that health conditions in the home on the northwest corner of Long Lake Road and Sherwood were unsatisfactory. The Mayor will check. The Mayor read a letter from Senator Thye giving information that negotiations were under way to lease the Twin City Arsenal sewer line to the city of Minneapolis. Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Rustad, for approval of the Lakeside Court plat. 5 ayes. Election returns for the annual Village election held on December 2 were opened and canvassed by members of the Council. Minutes of the Village Election were read. Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Achterkirch, for approval of the Minutes of the Village Election. 5 ayes. The Mayor announced that the first meeting of the Council for 1959 would be held at 7:00 P.M. on January 2 at the Village Hall to take care of that business required by law.
