A special meeting of the Mounds View Village council was called by the Mayor
and all members were notified.

Meeting called to order at 7:14 P.M. May 7, 1959 at the home of Mayor James
W. Gibson for discussion of the Meadow Brook licenses.
The reason for altering the original suspension reducing the term to 10 days
was considered after further investigation and finding that the violation was more
of a minor nature than originally believed. The proprietors of the Meadowbrook
had been doing there utmost to keep the minors out of their establishment.
Motion by Achterkirch seconded by Smith that the suspension be modified to twn
days, and that any further violations will be grounds for permanent revocation of the
licenses. Motion carried unanimously.
Meeting adjourned at 8:10 P.M.
