RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE NECESSITY AND EXPEDIENCY
OF BORROWING MONEY AND ISSUING BONDS FOR WATERWORKS
IMPROVEMENT PURPOSES: AND CALLING AN ELECTION THEREON.
BE IT RESOLVED BY the Village Council of the Village of
Mounds View, Minnesota, as follows:
(1) That it is hereby found, determined and declared that it
is necessary and expedient for the Village to borrow
money and issue its general obligation, negotiable coupon
bonds for the purpose of providing funds for the construc-
tion of a waterworks system for the Village.
(2) That a special election is hereby called to be held in and
for the Village of Mounds View on the proposition of
whether the Village should borrow money and issue its bonds
for the purpose of acquiring and constructing a waterworks
system for the Village. Said election shall be held at the
time and place specified in the form of notice hereinafter
contained, and the Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to cause notice of said election to be given by publishing
the same in the official newspaper at least once not later
'than one week prior to the election, and by posting copies
of said notice at the polling places and at three other
public and conspicuous places within the Village at least
ten (10) days prior to the date of said election. Said
notice shall be insubstantially the following form:

MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA
December 8, 1959
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That a special Village election has been
called to be held in and for the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota,
On December 8, 1959, between the ho4rs of 6:00 A.M. o'clock and 8:00
ogclock P.M. at which time all qualified electors of the Village of
Mounds View may cast their ballots on the following proposition:
"Shall the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota, be authorized to
borrow money and issue its general obligation bonds for the
purpose of providing funds to acquire and construct a waterworks
system for the Village at an estimated cost of $
to furnish water to the Village and its inhabitants?"
