Motion by Malvin, seconded by Smith to have the above resolution
placed on the ballot on December 8 to be voted on. Hodges, Smith,
Malvin, Gibson, aye; Christensen, aye, if the paragraph so stated on
the ballot will be changed within legal possibilities to the extent that
no one can possibly construe the statement to mean they will get water
in their house if said bonds are issued. Motion carried unanimously.
Attorney Meyers presented to the Council a check in the amount of
$4,475 .00 received from Allen and Courtney, Attorneys at Law, for final
payment on the sale of the Village Hall to the Village of Arden Hills.
Motion by Gibson, seconded by Christensen that the Village
Attorney be instructed to proceed with the appeal to a sovereign
judge in White Bear on the case pending that was appealed from our
Justice Court. Hodges, Christensen, Malvin, Gibson, aye; Smith, no.
Motion carried.
