ious weeds in the village was brought to the attention of the
council and Mr. Richard Birdsall, :Feed Inspector for the village,
was instructed to start cutting weeds and all necessary spraying
as required by law.
The subject of the purchase of a tractor by the village
was discussed which is equipment necessary for cutting weeds on
parks and playgrounds and for the upkeep of village property.
Motion by Christensen, seconded by Malvin that the council
authorize purchase of the Ford Tractor from Richard Birdsall
:or the sum of 1750.00 with the understanding that the equipment
gar. Birdsall has for the tractor be included in the purchase price.
4 ayes, motion carried.
Motion by Hodges seconded by Malvin to approve the following
bills for payment. 4 ayes motion carried.
