r. Lind appeared before the Council requesting subdivision of
Lot No. 73, Spring Lake Park Hillview Addition into two lots- -110 ft.
wide and 132 ft. wide. Upon ;uestioninG;,4 Mi. Lind, the Council
was informed that 1r. Dahlmeier was the true owner of the property
concerned and that Mr. Lind could not legally make application for
the subdivision of said land. Pr. Crane therefore suggested that
Mr. Lin.: take no action on this until formal application for sub-
division by ; -;r. :.,.7.hlreier has been made in the Village Clerk's office.
Mr. Glenn . ,4awson, . Mice Co omission member, read the monthly
olice report, *,thich is on file in the Clerk's office and also submitted
the following recommendations to the Council: (1) tocommendation
to call for bids for a new 1961 police car - -said bids to be submitted
ata :d without a trade -in; (2) aucommendation that the Council
submit an ad in the legal newspaper and such other newspapers as
may be desired, notifyin, those interested that applications will
be '; *':en to fill the position of patrolman in i- ounds View Village.
Mayor Crane instructed the attorney to i.repare the bids for a
olice car and suggested that the closing date be delayed until all
1,61 models are on the market. i•xM °yor Crone also announced that an
..dvertisenent for police applicants was inserted in the previous
week's newspaper. zie a.lso stated that said applications would be
'tept on file until such time as it is necessary to hire a patrolman.

the Council for approval. its presentation the Council dis-
cussed the possibility of mathematical errors *hich may be present

accept an itemization of corrections which may be due to mathemati-
ce.1 error. 4 -ayes for approval, Notion carried. Notion then jnade
by Mayor Crane, seconded by Christenson to adopt the water assessment
resolution subject to ;•ossible corrections in the aforementioned
motion :.above. 4 eyes for approval, motion carried.

Drive to retain the present garage now located on the premises until,
next spring after the erection of a new double garage. Motion by
scc .> .ded by Ir..)dges to issue a building; permit to resident at
said address on condition that the present ;garage be removed from
that site by Kay 1, 1961. 4 .:.yes, motion carried.
