It was also brought to the attention of the Council that
someone is removing soil from the site at :fed Oak Drive in the 5300
block and such removal is causing blowing sand to create a nuisance
to the surrounding area. Er. Christenson suggested that this may
be covered by the Nuisance Ordinance and that a complaint could be
filed in the Justice Court if necessary.
It was brought to the attention of t'_e Council that a petition
was delivered to the Council requesting_; the Council to restore the
boulevards and streets to their normal condition on Terrace Drive
between Hwy. 8 and quincy St. The question was posed as to what
action has been taken or would be taken by the Council regarding
this petition. Mayor Crane stated that he would locate this
petition and action would be taken thereon by the Council.
Mayor Crane mentioned an item on the agenda- -said item a
request by Mrs. Squires for placement of a house trailer on their
property. Lotion by Crane, seconded by :-odes to deny said request.
4 ayes, motion carried.
It was brought to the attention of the Council that residents
are seeking information concerning the specifications for the con-
nection of inside plumbing to the water meter. The Council instructed
the Engineer to investigate specifications concerning this and repe2t
to the Council at a future meeting.
Motion by Christenson, seconded by P_alvin to approve payment
of the bills (see list attached). 4 ayes, motion carried.
Motion by Malvin, seconded by Christenson to adjourn at 9 :30 P.M.
