HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000004_pg102PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIE`T RAMSEY COUNTY I"MINNESOTA Pursuand to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village Council was called to order at 8 :02 P.E. on Tuesday, October 18, 1960 at the Village Office, 5499 Adams St., New Brighton, 12, Minnesota. Members present: Mayor Clerk Trustee Fiscal Agent Engineer Members Absent: Trustee Allan 3. Crane Earl E. Smith Donald C. Hodges Robert Ehlers C. V. Comstock Melford C. Christenson Perry Malvin Mayor Crane opened the meeting and announced that a quorum of three members was present and called for bids on the sale of bonds for Tater Torks Improvement iro jects 1960 -2, 1960 -3 and additional expense incurred under Project No. 1960 -1, in the amount of 1585,000.00. Mayor Crane then called for bids a second time and thereupon announced that the bids were closed. Er. Ehlers, the Fiscal Agent for the Village, opened the bids and announced the contents of each bid as follows: Bid ITo. 1 - Allison Tilliaas Co. Bid containing a net interest cost of 1244,157.50 and net interest rate of 4.3415. Bid No. 2 - Barcus Kindred & Co. Net interest cost of 1253,195.00 with a net interest rate of 4.50220. Third & Last aid - John Nuveen and Company Net interest cost of 1244,621.25 and a net interest rate of 4.3498;x. Er. Ehlers, the Fiscal Agent, then computed the figures con - tained in each bid to determine the accuracy and completeness of the bids and declared the results to the Council. From these com- putations Mayor Crane announced that the firm of Allison 7illiams Company had placed the lowest bid for the sale of the aforementioned bonds.
