PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW
RAMSEY COUNTY
MINNESOTA
The regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of
Mounds View was called to order by Mayor Allan B. Crane at 8:00 p.m.,
November 28, 1960, at the Red Oak School located at Red Oak Drive
and Sherwood Roads

Clerk Smith was absent during the beginning of the
meeting and did not enter until 10:00 p.m. During the absence of
Clerk Smith, Mayor Crane appointed Mrs. Littlejohn as Clerk during
the meeting.
Mayor Crane opened the meeting with a call for bids on "rater
Improvement Project No. 60 -1C. Upon a second call for bids and
receiving no others, he declared the bids closed. Mayor Crane then
delivered the bids into the hands of Hr. Knutson, the Village
Engineer, who opened and read said bids as each was received.
The following bids were received as noted below:

Mayor Crane then announced that the bids would be set aside for
discussion later in the meeting.
Mayor Crane called for the minutes of November 9th to be read
and it was noted by Trustee Christensen that said minutes had been
read at the meeting of November 14, 1960.
Mrs. Littlejohn then read the minutes of the meeting of
November 14, 1960 and the following correction was made: In the
last paragraph on page 3 wherein it discusses the State Aid fuota
for maintenance of State Aid roads in Mounds View, the word "National"
was changed to "Municipal ". Motion by Hodges, seconded by Malvin to
approve the minutes as corrected. 4 ayes, motion carried.
