and i_aintenance employee. 5 ayes, motion carried.
Trustee Hodges then presented to the Council the subject of buying
a new or used trailer to haul lumber, etc. as required for the
Recreation program. Trustee Hodges moved, seconded by Malvin, that
the Recreation Committee be allowed to spend ;a 150. for a new or used
trailer for this purpose. After discussion in which the Council did
not know what type of trailer was to be purchased, the motion and
second were withdrawn. Said trailer would be discussed at a meeting
by the Council and possibly approved at a future meeting.
The subject of the certification of the judges for the Village
Election was brought to the attention of the Council and motion by
Smith, seconded by Christensen to certify the following citizens as
judges:
Pinewood School, Precinct No. 3
Ada Sopkowiak, Chairman
Ramona Thompson
Maxine Benosch
Red Oak School, Precinct No. 2
Lila Hauberg, Chairman
Idamae Larson
Mrs. Robert Pearson
Messiah Lutheran Church, Precinct No. 1
Bernice Ehlers
Bernice Schaffhausen
Mrs. T�dillo, Chairman
5 ayes, motion carried.
Mr. Skiba asked the Council what was to be done about expired
water permits which allowed 30 days time in which to place the water
connections. The Council concurred that the permits should be extended
and that the people holding such permits should have the water connec-
tion installed within a reasonable time.
Motion by Crane, seconded by Malvin to pay the following bills
see list attached). 5 ayes, motion carried.
Motion by Crane, seconded by Malvin to approve the following
licenses which have been approved by the inspectors see list attached).
5 ayes, motion carried.
